"Women of the Future" Conference
On Wednesday 22nd of June members of our sixth form represented the school at the “Women of the Future Ambassador’s Programme” conference which was held in The City. The US Ambassador, Matthew Barzun, spoke of his work in supporting relations between the UK and the USA. Below is some feedback from a student who attended the conference.
The conference was led by the US Ambassador to the UK, Mathew Barzun, who spoke about the relationship between the UK and the USA. It was a privilege to listen to someone who has worked alongside Barack Obama and is a very prominent figure in both the USA and the UK. It was a great experience to discuss the issues at hand in the USA, and how the UK and the USA have worked cooperatively to solve some of these problems. It was also very inspirational as the conference was aimed at young women to inspire us to become leaders to help solve the world’s major problems that face us today and in the future.
