Pupil Premium at Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School
School Vision
‘To view all students as individuals; each should pursue excellence and develop their talents in academic, creative, physical and social skills.’
Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School receives additional funding for Pupil Premium students. This is used to fund interventions and opportunities for Pupil Premium students to remove barriers to their learning. The range of interventions is extensive and reflects Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School’s commitment to meeting the needs of each individual child.
Our objectives in how we spend our Pupil Premium are as follows:
- To remove barriers to learning
- To close the gap in academic performance between disadvantaged students and non-disadvantaged nationally
- To monitor attendance and behaviour meticulously to ensure that all students are in school and learning effectively
- To provide effective support for students who may be experiencing challenges
- To ensure that all students can benefit from a range of wider experiences beyond the curriculum
Please read our Pupil Premium Strategy document linked at the bottom of the page for more information.
