Enrichment and Raising Aspirations at Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School, Pupil Premium
As a school we believe that enrichment activities and wider experiences beyond the curriculum are an important part of the all-round educational experience and so we invest part of the pupil premium funding in enrichment activities for the students across the year groups.
We have funded the following enrichment and aspirational activities:

Rock Challenge |
All Years A dance competition which promotes healthy life choices. Students take part in performing, make up, and set designing and building. |
Shakespeare Workshop |
Year 9 One day event to help get to grips with understanding Shakespeare |
White Water Writers |
KS3 White Water Writers is a literacy project that enables groups of up to ten writers to write and publish their own novel within five days facilitated by university students. |
