Applying to the Sixth Form
Current QEGS Students
Current Year 11 students are not required to submit an application to the school sixth form as they are all eligible for a place, conditional on meeting the entry criteria (these can be found on the courses section of the website). Current Year 11 students will need to complete the course choices form by Friday 7 January 2022.
All students not currently studying at QEGS need to complete the Application Form (available on this page after the open evening). The deadline for applications to be received is Friday 7 January 2022. Once your application has been processed, we will notify you to let you know if you have been offered a place. This offer will be conditional on your meeting the entry criteria in your final GCSE exams. You will be invited to a Prospective Students Morning where you will have the chance to meet current Sixth Form students and receive further information on life in the Sixth Form.
For all students, access to QEGS Sixth Form will be based on the following:

- GCSE English Language and Mathematics at Grade 4 or above
- A level subject specific entry requirements. Generally you will need at least Grade 6 or above at GCSE, in any subject you wish to study at A Level.
